Barrie Public Library strives to enrich our community by building innovative partnerships that create cultural connections throughout our beautiful city.

Among many others, our current partnerships include:

Simcoe County's Cultural Networks (SUMAC) - Cultural Places Pass

Become a ‘Friend for the Day’ at 9 Sumac locations. Starting Victoria Day weekend to Thanksgiving weekend, pick up your Cultural Places Pass at any Barrie Public Library Branch.

Cultural Access Pass

This pass offers new citizens the opportunity to enjoy the Canadian cultural experience through complimentary access to more than 1,000 participating attractions, galleries, museums and discovery centres across Canada.

Library staff can assist you in printing out a Membership Pass. You will need have your Citizenship Document and some Photo Identification showing your birthdate with you.
