If you live in Barrie or Oro-Medonte you
can register for a free library card. A
library card is your ticket to a whole new
world. With a library card you have access
to everything your library has to offer.
All children 12 years of age and under must have a borrower registration form signed by a parent or legal guardian, in order to get a library card. Because your parents/guardian are responsible for everything you take out, this makes sure that they are aware that you have a card. If you already have a card, the next time your card is renewed, you will be asked to provide or verify the name of the parent/guardian to ensure our records are current.
Non-residents may join for the following
fees:
$60.00 for a one year membership
$40.00 for a six month membership
$25.00 for a three month membership
$25.00 for a one year student membership
(Students who do not live or own property
in the City of Barrie but attend school
in the City of Barrie).
Cards for additional family members of
non-residents are $10.00 each.
A Borrower Registration Form [pdf] is available
so you can print it, fill it out and bring
it in to the circulation desk along with
your identification. |
