EBooks are electronic books that can be read by using a computer. You can search them, borrow, read, and return them, all via the Internet 24 hours a day, through the Library Catalogue, as well as from home computers via the library webpage.

Libraries on the Go

Gale Virtual Reference Library (GVRL)

Gale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for research across a wide variety of topics. You can find these titles using our online catalogue and then search within a single title or across the entire GVRL collection.

Zinio Online Magazines

Full digital copies of almost 100 popular English and French magazines.

Kids eReading Room - Libraries on the Go

The Kids eReading Room includes ebooks and audiobooks (both fiction and nonfiction) for elementary and middle school students, including early readers, chapter books, YA/Teen novels.

TumbleBookCloud

TumbleBookCloud is an online collection of ebooks with audio read-along including chapter books, early readers, YA/Teen novels, for both middle and high schools students, plus classics of American and English literature.

To access our TumbleBookCloud:

  • No special software or downloading is required
  • Simply find a book, either by category or title
  • View Online
  • The text and audio run simultaneously
