These databases allow you to do research in magazine and newspaper articles covering a wide range of subjects. You can find the fulltext for many major Canadian newspapers, and current and back issues of over 1,000 magazines.

Many of our databases are available through the library's web site 24/7, whether from the library, home, school or work.

PLEASE NOTE: You will now need your 14-digit library card number AND your 4 digit PIN in order to access many of our online resources. .

  • The main search box will return online articles in the results list
  • Click 'Publications' in the top left corner of the main search screen to browse or search by publication title

Audiobooks on EBSCOhost

Over 700 eAudiobooks (both fiction and nonfiction) which can be downloaded to your home computer, and transferred to a portable listening device.


Auto Repair Reference Center

Auto Repair Reference Center (ARRC) is a collection of automobile repair reference information and contains repair and maintenance information on most major manufacturers of domestic and imported vehicles from 1954 to present, specifications and maintenance schedules and a labour time guide and estimator. New repair procedures, TSBs and updates are added to the product on a regular basis.  

All of the content in ARRC has been created by ASE certified technicians.

Basic ESL

Basic ESL improves an individual’s listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a simple to follow, and instructionally proven curriculum.

Students learn English quickly and effectively on relevant topics including: family, home, school and many other topics. In each lesson students learn key vocabulary and how to use that vocabulary in conversation.

You should register separately with Basic ESL if you want your progress to be saved.
