  • Who Writes Like? - This Australian Library site provides extensive lists of Read-alikes for popular authors.
  • Webrary - FictionL - Site has extensive and eclectic booklists.
  • CBC Books - Site has information on books, book program, and events
  • Book Browse - Site has book recommendations and author information.
  • Reader's Advice - Site has lists of authors and series. Read-alike and genre lists are also available.

  • Author Name Pronunciation Guide - A collection of brief recordings of authors and illustrators saying their names. Make sure you are using the correct pronunciation when talking about an author.
  • Author Yellow Pages - Site is an online directory of author websites and newsletters.
  • Pseudonyms - Site has lists of real names and pseudonyms in an alphabetical arrangement.
  • What's Next! - Site lets you search for the next book in a series by a particular author. Website also lists authors who write series in a particular genre.

  • Book Club Resource - Site has information on starting a book club and links to discussion guides.

  • Citizen Reader - The writer of this blog discusses mainly non-fiction titles.

  • Dewey Divas and the Dudes - Book publishers' representatives comment on books and book events.
