February Blues on Feb. 6

February Blues on Feb. 6

The Barrie Public Library will be singing the Blues on February 6! As a part of February Blues Festival XIX, we’re hosting live performances by some of Canada’s finest Jazz and Blues artists. Both the Downtown and Painswick library branches are featuring performances between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Painswick: Richard Whiteman & Trevor Giancola (48 Dean Ave., Barrie)
Downtown: The Kene Hyatt Trio feat. Mike Lewis (60 Worsley St., Barrie)

The annual February Blues Festival takes place during Barrie Winterfest, with Jazz and Blues shows being hosted at venues throughout Barrie, Bradford West Gwillimbury, Innisfil and Midland.

Come join us at either branch for an afternoon of great music!

We'll also be serving up a special Pink Hot Cocoa (raspberry white hot chocolate) as part of Barrie's 2nd Annual Winterfest Hot Chocolate Trail!

All ages are welcome and no registration is required.

Visit the Barrie Jazz Blues Fest website for more information about the festival and the full schedule.
