Want to learn something new in 10 minutes? This free all-ages afternoon festival offers 10-minute mini-sessions where you can learn a new skills in 10 minutes. Local groups and volunteers are teaching skills to help you spring into summer!

Learn new skills including how to:

  • Plant a bee-friendly garden (Master Gardeners)
  • Tune up your bike (Trek Bicycle Store)
  • Start a campfire safely (Scouts Canada)
  • Make 10-minute on-the-go summer snacks (Zehrs Markets)
  • Hike the Ganaraska Trail (Ganaraska Hiking Trail - Barrie Club)
  • Make fun, wearable art (Sean George)
  • Perform magic tricks (BPL's Teen Advisory Board)
  • Get started fishing (Rotary Club Barrie)
  • Take the sting out of bites, burns & rashes (St. John Ambulance)
  • Stargaze the night sky (Haitham Mostafa)
  • Boost literacy all summer with our summer reading programs
